Glendale Int’l is pleased to offer the Model FA2300 MADRAS a fourth-generation recorder.  The MADRAS contains the functions of a Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU), Flight Data Recorder (FDR and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) in a single unit.  This unit meets EUROCAE ED-56A, ED-55 as well as the latest

ED-112.  All current GSE hardware and software used on the FA2100 recorders is 100% applicable to the MADRAS.

This unit is a solid state design ½ ATR short.  It has a guaranteed MTBF>12,000 hours.  The FDR function captures all the signals and provides the output as identified in the attached parameter table.  A minimum 25 hours of FDR data is stored in the Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) at a data rate of 256 Words Per Second.  The CVR function records 120 minutes, 4 channels of High Quality audio.  The unit operates on 28vdc and is equipped with an Underwater Locator Beacon (ULB).  This unit is provided with a three (3) year warranty.
