There have been changes to the 2009 IATA dangerous goods regulations, which have reclassified the amount of Lithium content allowed  for shipment.

All of the beacons offered by Glendale International are safe for transport when packed in accordance with the new regulations.

None need the full DG paperwork completed.

Our rough guide is:

  • All items need to be packed within an inner box to prevent short circuit

  • Under 2 beacons: No special labelling or declaration on AWB etc.

  • Over two beacons per box: New Lithium shipping label/FedEx equivalent with contact number etc.
