For the last 13 years Phil Camp has been a major part of Glendale. Anyone who has talked to, or has met Phil over the years will know, he is an avid aircraft enthusiast. He has now taken a back seat from the everyday involvement with Glendale to further pursue his hobby. His expertise and advise is not lost though, as he is still employed by Glendale as a consultant which fits in better with his situation and will still be our number one Lektro expert! He will no doubt be helping out at air shows and exhibitions as part of the Glendale team in the future. We wish him the best for his new ventures.  

Dow-Key Microwave RF Switches           NEW PRODUCTS

An exciting new product this month that is standard fit on most Boeing aircraft.

Glendale has been appointed an international sales representative for Dow-Key and in time we will be stocking a range of these units for immediate despatch here in the UK. Our launch part number is 402-167 and our first consignment are due to arrive mid January.

This unit combines Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU), Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) This is especially useful for fresh installations or applications where space or weight is limited.

Test Equipment News.

Glendale International now stock the ASI-502 Control Wizard as manufactured by Avionics Specialist Inc. This unit emulates most major control functions for testing requirements.

Glendale International, in co-operation with L3 Communications Aviation Recorders and Avionics Specialists are now able to offer a replacement for the L3 Test Set ACS-5A. The aircraft simulator ACS-5A/17TES0050 is only available from us under part number ASI-ACS-5A. This unit provides many data sources, which may be applied to a 542X or 573/717/747 flight recorder. It is required to test the L3 Model F1000 FDR and it can be used to test trip and date encoders and low level DC accelerometers.
