Novega GmbH are the largest producer of beacons for marine recorders,. They have now developed a beacon suitable for aviation use. This beacon replaces all existing 30 day and 90 day beacons, P/N DK100, DK120, ELP362D, ELP362D-90, DK120-90. It has a 6 year life and has the advantage of a lower lithium content to allow for easy shipping. Our beacons can be shipped as standard shipments, whereas the other 90 day beacons are fully declared Haz Mat.

90 day beacon. The Green90 is now standard fit on the L3 25hr recorders as fitted to new Airbus aircraft. Other recorder OEM's are choosing this beacon for easier handling without any haz mat restrictions.
